Dupioni is made from an irregular, rough silk reeled from double cocoons or cocoons spun side-by-side. Usually brightly colored, it has a moderately crispness, a fairly reflective luster, and a unique nubby texture. This silk is crisp to the touch and wrinkle resistant.
